Hello, I’m Dr. Tina Goodin.
For decades I’ve sat with people in the most honest hour of their week: executives and college students, children and the parents who love them, people at the top of their game and people who have just lost someone they love. What they all find in my office is the same thing. Someone who gets them, fast.
My clients tell me the relief starts in the first session, that moment when someone finally says out loud what you’ve been carrying privately, and it makes complete sense. That is the work I love. Not worksheets, not scripts. Real understanding, in plain language, from someone who has seen what pressure, grief, and change do to a person.
Credentials that speak for themselves.
I hold a PhD from McGill University with advanced clinical training in New York, and I’m Board Certified at the highest level of my profession. I’ve taught and supervised the next generation of psychologists as a professor at McGill and Wayne State, founded and directed a hospital counseling service, and hosted my own radio show.
For two decades, physicians at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Palm Beach have referred their own patients to me, by word of mouth alone.
How I work with you.
I offer private teletherapy for children and adults throughout Florida, by video or by phone, and I’ve worked with clients remotely since 2012, long before it became the norm. Many of my clients prefer phone sessions, because voice-only removes every distraction and lets the work go deep, from wherever your day happens to be.
My approach is depth-oriented and direct. We look at the patterns underneath, the ones you can’t quite see from the inside, and we work on them together as partners. My practice is 100% private pay, so what you share stays between the two of us. And the first step is as human as the work: you send me a text, and the first voice you hear is mine.
